      to me
Hello, I tried to send this message as a suggestion on Oney's page but it couldn't be sent, for some reason.

      https://reynoldspatova.org/getperson.php?personID=I9704&tree=reynolds1

The Jesse Reynolds who married Oney did not die in 1836. He died in early 1829 in Patrick Co., VA.

This also means that the Jesse Reynolds who applied for a Rev. War pension in 1832 Bedford Co. cannot have been the same man.

This misinformation is all over the internet!!

I am not related to these folks but am working with a descendant on her tree and I discovered this problem while trying to document this Jesse and Oney, and herself as nee Bright.

      Best regards,
      Anne Burton Washburn
