Samuel McClanahan is shown as the s/o Sarah Neeley and Wm. McClanahan. Sarah was born abt 1738; she would have been 12 years old; and Wm. would have been 10. They probably did have a Samuel, but not this one listed as Patriot in DAR records. Brother, Alexander married Sarah Moore and his brother Samuel married Jane or Jean Moore; likely sisters.
