    Notes:

    Nat Wooding on Facebook:
One night I did an ego search for Nat Wooding and found a 1929 or so diary entry that read "Nat Wooding delivered the mail today". My father was in the Army in Panama at the time so this Nat was his uncle who was a mail carrier around Straitstone. The diary was kept by an aged lady named Julia Brumfield who lived on a farm in that area. I wound up doing most of one of her diaries. On one occasion one or two of my Wooding great aunts came to visit (they lived nearby) and brought along a woman who I'm pretty sure was a Carter great aunt. One entry tells of one of her boys helping to dig my great grandfather's grave. Who knows what stories will emerge and old letters and such are scanned and transcribed. I urge anyone with family papers to have them scanned and preserved for posterity.
