    Notes:

    Thurman Reynolds, 76, of 933 Lincoln Street, died on Monday, June 22, 2009 at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

    Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Harold Gearhart and Rev Michael Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery.

    Mr. Reynolds was born in Danville, Va. to the late Linwood Oscar and Ella Jackson Reynolds. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. Thurman was known as a hard working man that loved people. He loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all of his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Lois Gene Reynolds and Mae Frances Reynolds Barber; brothers, Beverley Reynolds, Linwood Reynolds, Jr., Dewey Reynolds and Beachman Reynolds; sisters, Bessie Reynolds Crane, Frances Reynolds Hutson, Mary Reynolds Flannigan and Ruby Reynolds Hutson; daughter-in-law, Robin Warf Reynolds.

    He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Pauline Oliver Reynolds of the home; son, James Thurman Reynolds "J.T."; daughters, Kathy Reynolds Booth, Mary Reynolds Gearhart and husband, Harold, Shelia Reynolds Nance and husband, Byron; grandchildren, Michelle Marsh Troxler, Keith Benfield, Shannon Porterfield Chilton, Joshua Gearhart, Amanda Gearhart Lester, Rodney Hall, Michael Patterson, Scottie Hall, Tammy Barber, Jessica Nance, Hannah Nance, Russell Reynolds, Patience Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds, and two step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers, Douglas Reynolds, Sr. and Jermone "Jerry" Reynolds; sisters, Lemma Reynolds Davis, Rebecca Reynolds Adkerson, and Hazel Reynolds Gregory.

    The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 24 from 7:00 ? 9:00 PM. Other times the family will be at the home of daughter, Shelia Nance, 1459 Flatrock Road, Reidsville.
