    Mrs. Phoebe Truby died suddenly at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. A.J. Ranson, Blairsville, on Friday morning at the age of 83 years. Mrs. Truby's maiden name was Reynolds. She was born in Lancaster county, and early in life moved with her parents to Kittanning, where she was married to Philip Truby in 1835, and in 1863 they removed to Blairsville. Since her husband's death in 1873, she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. A.J. Ranson, who with a brother, William R. Truby, of Wilkinsburg, survives her.
    She is survived by a brother, Olive G. Reynolds of Kansas, and a sister, Mrs. Lyda McAfoose, of Armstrong county.
    The deceased had been a consistent member of the M.E. church for over 50 years.

    Interment was made in the Blairsville cemetery

    Phebe/Phoebe married Philip Truby. Philip was born 1818, Pennsylvania; died 8 Aug 1873, Indiana County, Pennsylvania; was buried , Blairsville Cemetery, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. [Group Sheet]
