    She is survived by one son,
    John Andrew Eggleston, of
    Hopewell; one daughter, Frances
    Jamison, of Martinsville, six
    grandchildren and 11 great grand-
    children.
    Funeral services were conduct-
    ed Monday, July 14, 1997 at 10
    a.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of
    J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home
    with the Rev. David L. Wade offi-
    ciating. Interment will follow at 4
    p.m. in Roselawn Cemetery in
    Martinsville.
    In lieu of flowers, the family
    suggests that contributions may
    be made to Hopewell Emergency

    John Andrew Eggleston, 82, of Hopewell passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 in McGuire Veterans Hospital. John was retired owner of A.C. Eggleston and Son Construction Company, a U.S. Army Korean veteran with the 45th infantry and a recipient of the Purple Heart, an honorary member of the Crossroads Hunting Club and attended Prince George Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Y. Eggleston, three children, Keith W. Eggleston (Frances), Kay E. Eure (Jim) and Kenny D. Eggleston (Stephanie), five grandchildren, Andrew Eure (Donna), Kevin Eggleston, Michael Eure, Kelly and Sara Eggleston, two great grandchildren, Shailyn Nester and Bristol Eure, a sister, Frances E. Jamison and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in the Prince George Christian Church with Rev. Wayne Marburger officiating. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312
