      Pryor was born in Henry County, Virginia to George Reynolds & Susannah Lansford, a daughter of Catherine Lansford of Pittsylvania County, VA.
      I don't know where Pryors' father, George is buried, but there is a cenotaph for him in Greensboro, Guilford County, N.C. at the Guilford Court House National Military Park.

      Pryor married Prudence Morehead in VA. on 11 May. 1809.
      She was the daughter of John Morehead & Obedience Motley.

      Pryor Reynolds, son of George and Susanna Reynolds, moved to Tennessee in 1809, living in Williamson County until 1819. He then moved to Lawrence County, Alabama, where he resided until 1827, when he moved to Rockingham County, North Carolina, in the neighborhood of where he was reared.
      Two of his children, Elizabeth and Martha died in childhood.
      Pryor Reynolds passed the remainder of his days at his home near the town of Draper, where he died Oct. 5th, 1858.
      He was buried in the family graveyard.
      Pryor Reynolds was probably named after a member of the Pryor family.
      ===
      Why does his son Pryors' tombstone at Lawson Cemetery in Eden, Rockingham County, N.C. have Pryor Reynolds Sr. on it? [Because after his father died, he became Senior]
