  (Research):!Randolph appeared first on the 1810 Tax List of Virginia. He was in Halifax County on March 14. There was one tithable in the hom e. There were no slaves and two horses. In 1820 he was in Pittsylvania, Virginia, page 56a. By 1830 he had move d to Maury County, Tennessee, page 320 on the census. He was now with three s ons and four daughters in the family. In 1840 they were in Davidson County , Tennessee, page 390 of the census. Then they were in Giles County in 18 50 and in Gibson County, Tennessee in the 1860 census. Additional information obtained on this family from Nina Salter, P.O. B ox 310, Bowie, Texas 76230 on Feb 1992. !The 1850 Census shows Randolph's occupation as a Toll Gate Keeper.
