Born in Campbell County June 9, 1885, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Annie Scruggs Scruggs. At the age of 14, she moved to Danville with her parents. She was a member of Lee Street Baptist Church and resided at 865 Stokes St. In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children, Eubert W. Reynolds of Danville, Charles N. and Joseph A. Reynolds, both of Richmond, arr P. Reynolds of Roanoke, and Mrs. Annie R. Bennett and Mrs. Hilda R. Brooks, both of Richmond; and 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
