The middle name Embry/Embra given by many web posters comes down through the family of Thomas' daughter-in-law, Sarah Elizabeth Scott, wife of Albert Gallatin Green. DAR application, Member #521453; Millard Fillmore Collins, greatgrandson of Thomas Jr states that Thomas died on 31 Jul 1827.
