      Thomas GREEN Jr. was born about 1756 in, Prince Edward, VA. He died on 31 May 1827 at the age of 71 in, Prince Edward, VA. He was buried on 1 June 1827, Prince Edward, VA. Contrary to information on the web, Thomas Green Jr. has no middle name in any records in Prince Edward co VA and his signature never used a middle initial. The middle name Embry/Embra given by many web posters comes down through the family of Thomas' daughter-in-law, Sarah Elizabeth Scott, wife of Albert Gallatin Green.
      DAR application, Member #521453; Millard Fillmore Collins, greatgrandson of Thomas Jr states that Thomas died on 31 Jul 1827. Probate records of Prince Edward co VA do not agree with this date.

      There is also another Thomas Green, said not related to the Nathaniel Greens.
