The Bee (Danville, Virginia) 21 February 1929 (Page 4) James G. Mitchell Dies At Blanch;Funeral Friday News was received here this morning of the death at Blanch N. C. of James G. Mitchell, age 75, widely known farmer in Caswell county and a leader in his community. He was seized apparently while he slept with a heart attack for he was dead when found. Death apparently took place at about last midnight. He had not complained of being ill recently, it was said. The funeral is to be held tomorrow afternoon from the residence, interment to be made nearby. Mr. Mitchell suffered the loss of his wife many years ago but he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mattie Mitchell, Danville; Mrs. W. T. Powell, Blanch, N. C.; Mrs. Cullen Bryant, Milton, N. C.; Miss Lady Mitchell, Raleigh, N. C.; Mrs. T. O. Pinchback, Raleigh, N. C.; Charles Mitchell, Blanch; John Mitchell, Washington, D. C.; and J. C. Mitchell, Hampton. He also is survived by two brothers Robert Mitchell, of Blanch, N.
