Benjamin Franklin Gravely's home once stood almost directly across the road from the old Leatherwood General Store (that is still there today) and 200 or so yards from the old brick "B. F. Gravely and Sons" manufacturing building that is now a lovely antique store (on the same side of the road.) There are four adult graves that are still standing in what once was the yard of Benjamin Franklin's home and those graves are referred to as the "Benjamin Franklin Gravely Cemetery" so as not to be confused with other cemeteries referred to as the "Gravely Cemetery" and so the location of these graves can be located and identified more easily.
