- EDEN Mazie Mae Curry, 89, of 915 Irving Ave., departed this life to be with Jesus on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, in Lawson Cemetery in Eden.
Mrs. Curry was a native of Eden, where she lived all of her life. She was a member of Wayside Church of the Living God.
Surviving are: her only son, James Warren Rice (and wife Yvonne) of Sun City Center, Fla.; sister, Lottie Ball (and husband Clifford) of Eden; brother, William T. Wray of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren, Kathy Lynn and Linda Patrice and several great grandchildren; two very special friends, Eula Arthur and Charlotte McDaniel.
