Mr. and Mrs. Horace C. Reynolds of Elkton left Monday on a honeymoon following their marriage by the Rev. W.F. Hopkins at the pastor's home on East Main Street.
The bride, the former Sarah I. Kemether of East High Street, was attired in an embroidered dress over satin with blue accessories. She wore a white orchid corsage. She was attended by Mrs. Grace Olewine of Elkton.
The groom, whose home is also on East High Street, is in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He will return to duty Sunday. 8/16/1951

Sarah Irene "Reenie" Reynolds, age 83, of Elkton, MD, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016. Born in Glasgow, DE on April 12, 1932, she was the daughter of Joseph F. and Reba Jewell Kemether.
Mrs. Reynolds retired after 30 years with Chrysler Corporation Mopar Plant, Newark, DE where she worked in the office as a key punch operator. Later she was a dispatcher for Elk Cab, a company she owned and operated with her husband, "Clint". She graduated Elkton High School, Class of "49", and married Horace Clinton Reynolds, August 13, 1951. She was a member of Elkton United Methodist Church and UAW Local #1212, Newark, DE. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing the lottery and gambling with friends at Delaware Park.
Survivors include her loving nieces and caregivers, Maxine Lynch (Ron), Arlene Bowman (Johnnie) and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Horace Clinton Reynolds and siblings, Margaret E. Miller, Mary Tisdale, twins Joseph F. Kemether and Reba Mae Fox, and Walter Kemether.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Interment in Elkton Cemetery.
