      Today, a fisherman named Charles Carter, died in his skiff up in Sunflower River, and his remains were brought here. The deceased was a man of family, and formerly lived in Alabama. He was a Mason, and his funeral will be conducted from Fisher's Parlors, by the Masons this afternoon at 5 o'clock.
