      My ancestors who were killed and captured at Gettysburg July 3rd 1863 in Pickett's Charge Suter F. Blair wounded thigh amputation died 12 days later July 15 in Gettysburg. George W. Blair POW and sent to Ft Delaware,then to Pt. Lookout,Md. Was exchanged Feb.1865. Died at Battle of Five Forks outside Petersburg,Va. April 1,1865
      Finally ...I know where Suter Blair, a private in the 38th Va. Co. B died at Gettysburg Pa. July 3, 1863. He was wounded in Pickett's Charge, and taken back to Bream Mill field hospital and had a thigh/leg amputation, died July 14 or 15 1863. He more than likely was buried on that property and exhumed and buried in the mass grave in Richmond's Hollywood Cemetery where the monument to those at Gettysburg is ....
