Jonathan Reynolds, s/o William b. 31 Mar 1774 in N. Kingstown, RI. He was killed by an engine at Davisville on the New York, Providence & Boston RR, 12 Sep 1851. M. Mary Spink, b. 25 Mar 1773, d/o Nicholas and Anne Spink. Prior to 1805, Mr. Reynolds engaged in carpentering, and at that time engaged in a retail variety business, which he gave over to his son, John J., in 1835. He was town clerk from 1813 to 1836, was a director of the North Kingstown Bank from 1819, and president thereof from 1834 until the time of his death. His obit is found in the Providence Journal.
