HON. EDMUND JENNINGS of "Ripon Hall", York Co. , England, born 1659, died Jun. 2, 1727 VA, married Frances Corbin, born 1671, the daughter of Hon. Henry Corbin and Alice Eltonhead.

Edmund came to America at an early age and was Attorney General of Virginia 1680-92, Member of the Kings Council 1701-1727, Secretary of State 1704-706 & 1720-1722, Acting Governor June 1706-Aug. 23, 1710.
