Comments (Family Group Sheet for Robert Tucker / Martha Eppes/Epps (F6000)): Stephen Ellington, son of David Senior, did not marry Frances Williams in North Carolina in 1800. That was a different Stephen Ellington, descended from a brother or uncle of David Senior.
Stephen Ellington I married Ann -- in Virginia. She had to relinquish her dower rights in a deed when he sold land.(See Prichett, Southside Virginia Genealogies, which is also the source of the incorrect information about Frances Williams)

Stephen I died in 1798 in Georgia. His probate record continued for a decade because he had minor children. (1) His wife died in 1802, when Stephen's estate paid for her coffin cloth. (1 and 2)

Stephen I had five children: Rice, Stephen Junior (a.k.a. Stephen II), Garland, Robert, and Jane.

Rice Ellington married Nancy Garrett on April 24, 1800, in Elbert County, Georgia. (4) He married Martha Owens in 1839, after Nancy died.

Stephen Ellington II married Elizabeth Thompson, daughter of William Thompson (of the Maryland Catholic Thompson lineage), around 1800. Stephen II and Elizabeth had one son, Stephen III, before Stephen II died suddenly in November 1802. Elizabeth and her father became administrators of Stephen II's estate and legatees of Stephen I then. When Elizabeth's neighbor Wiley Thompson married her, he became an administrator of Stephen II's estate and an heir of Stephen I.

Jane Ellington married John Langdon on November 11, 1806. (3)

Robert married Ann F.A. Prior in 1817. She got her marriage annulled after producing two children with him. He disappeared.

I'm descended from Stephen I, Stephen II, and Stephen III.
