School, Culdesac, Idaho in 1947. Connie and Robert Devin
were married at First Methodist Church in Lewiston. She was
a homemaker and mother in Lewistion, Idaho. Connie died at
the Life Care Center of Lewiston, Idaho in 2006.

quilts that were given to her grandchildren. Because of
the hardships of of
raising ten children during the 1930's depression, out on
homesteaded ground,
nothing went to waste in creating gifts for her family &
decorations around her
home.
Died at Lyle Gulch home the day the barn blew up.

Narrative History:
Oleta was educated at Flora High School in Flora, Oregon.
Along with being a farm wife and young mother, she also
taught school. She rode horseback with the three oldest
children to teach her students. Her married life was spent
