    Notes:

    Brought his young family from Germany in 1750 aboard the
    ship Phoenix, arriving in Philadelphia. The family lived in
    Berks County, Pennsylvania. They moved to Rowan (now
    Davidson) County, North Carolina where Davault paid taxes

    Davault Beck witnessed the baptism of his grandson John
    Philip Beck, Jr. on 02.February.1766 at Zion's Lutheran
    Church in what is now Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. [JNT
