Wesley Holmes Reynolds with his Mother, Nannie Richardson Kendrick; Today is my Mothers birthday---She would be 98. Born 2-1-17---Married 2-3-34--I was born 1-20-35---she was still 17 yrs. old. We sort of grew up together---She died 8-3-99--age 82----still miss her everyday--Happy Birthday Mom! Hope to join you someday. Being oldest, I was her right hand man. (6 more followed me)--we whitewashed inside the cabin,I helped wash diapers--carried water from the spring--hoe'd the garden--helped can food from the garden--bring in firewood--chase cows--whatever--and sometimes when I got older I had to "whup" a chap when they (rarely-ha!) acted up.A rough life but they were the good old days. The picture was taken Mothers Day 1986.She was 69 yrs old.
