Lilley was adopted by John Bradfield when he was quite old and his wife Mary Charshe.
Lillie's headstone is broken and can't be found, at one time half of it rested up against the back of the church. Not there anymore.
Died:
Lillie Griest: an esteemed lady of the sixth district, wife of William Griest, died at her home near Rising Sun, last Saturday morning, after a long illness of Bright's disease, aged 48 years. The funeral was held from her late home Monday afternoon, with the services in the Hopewell Church, Rev. J.M. Lindale officiating. Interment in Hopewell M.E. Cemetery.
Lillie married William F. Grist/Griest 28 Feb 1895, Theodore, Cecil County, Maryland. William was born 14 Feb 1872, Maryland; died 13 Jul 1951, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; was buried , Mount Eden Lutheran Cemetery, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [Group Sheet]
