We the undersigned commissioners appointed to settle with John 'Carathers' administration on the estate of Mitchel Vaughan dec'd. make the following report, to wit, after a careful examination do find that the whole amount of said estate which came into the hands of the said administrator as per inventory and papers to be $423.65

We further find that the said Adm has disbursed and are entitled to credits as follows, to wit. Funeral Expenses, etc. [line items total 159.99] + [Commissions allowed $29.21]

Amount brought forward $423.65
Less Disbursements 189.13
Leaving 234.52

We find in the hand of the said administrator Two Hundred and Thirty-four dollars and 52/100 cents for distribution among the legatees of said estate, all of which is respectfully submitted this 21st day of Nov 1862; Signed William Carter, George Young, John Chappx**[unreadable] Noted Mitchell Vaughn Settlement with John Carruthers admin.
