is assumed that Bryant was her married name. The
gravestones of Robert L. Mitchell (1865-1939) and Ruby
Mitchell Bryant are adjacent in the Gilead Presbyterian
Cemetery (Estelle, Caswell County, North Carolina). Whether
they are related is unknown. However, it is possible that
this person is Robert Lee Mitchell, brother of James Grasty
Mitchell (father of Ruby Mitchell). Thus, Robert L.
Mitchell would be an uncle of Ruby Mitchell.
