    Marion Lincoln Hodgson, 93, a long time resident of Key Biscayne, passed away in her home peacefully into the arms of the Lord , surrounded by her four children and extended family on July 10, 2015. Daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. George Washington Lincoln. Beloved wife of the late William J. Hodgson. Devoted mother of Donald L. Frazer, Jr. of San Diego, CA, Alan D. Frazer and his wife Candace of Harvard, MA, Joan V. Frazer of Key Biscayne, FL and Kirk S. Frazer and his wife Bobbee of Falmouth, MA. Loving grandmother of Sarah, Rebecca and Kirk Frazer; and Brit and Olivia Moller, children of Donald L. Frazer, Jr. Sister of the late George Lincoln and the late Edith Lincoln DuJardin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Marion was born and raised in Bala Cynwyd, PA, July 7, 1922. This is where she grew up and became a legal secretary until her marriage in 1944 to Donald L. Frazer. Shortly after the birth of their first child, Donald, the family relocated to Montevideo, Uruguay in continuance of her husband's career with Westinghouse. In 1957 after ten years in Uruguay, Marion returned to the United States with four children in tow. The family settled in Beach Haven on the Jersey shore. In 1961, Marion married William J. Hodgson, an entrepreneur and Mayor of Ship Bottom, on Long Beach Island, NJ where the family lived for many years. In 1987, their winter home in Key Biscayne since 1972 became Marion and Bill's permanent residence. Marion's interest in civic affairs took full fruit, often in leadership positions in the community. She was on the board of Commodore Club East for twenty-four years, serving as president for 15 years. Marion served as president of the Episcopal Women's Club of St. Christopher's By-the-Sea Episcopal Church. She was president of the Key Biscayne Republican Women's Club, once a Florida delegate to a Republican national convention. She was an active member of the Key Biscayne Women's Club and served on the Tax Committee of Key Biscayne for several years. Marion and Bill also enjoyed many years as members of the Key Biscayne Yacht Club. Marion's life is imbued with a sense of faith, goodness, perspective, loyalty, respect and laughter. She loved and appreciated the little things in life and nature, always acknowledging the beauty around us. Marion had an unshakeable love of God, country and family. Her passions were family, church, dogs and all manner of animals, swimming, the sea, politics, history, reading, sports and not lastly, Marion loved to cook. A Celebration of Marion's Life will be held at St. Christopher's By-the-Sea Episcopal Church of Key Biscayne August 22 at noon with reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Internment in Oddfellows Cemetery, Medford, NJ at a future date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project and The ASPCA of America.
