    to me, Raymond, wht3

    Cousin Mary Frances

Was Aunt Mattie Edwards Carter your grandmother? My grandmother was Elizabeth Patience Edwards Hurt, her sister. They were daughters of Addison Lafayette Edwards. I am glad to make contact with you Cousin Mary Frances. I have met James C. Moses, Class of 1954 at Randolph-Macon College. I am a member of the Class of 1952 at R-MC. I met him about 10 years ago at R-MC and he was living in Richmond. He advised me that he had sold the Moses Insurance Agency in Danville. I told him that his grandmother was my grandmother?s sister. He appeared to have no interest in the Edwards connection. I look forward to talking to you and my favorite Cousin Ray Ryan about the Edwards and Boley Families.

It is a pleasure to meet you Mary Frances.

    Bill Talley, III

Elizabeth Patience 'Bessie' Edwards, spinster, never married and had no issue. She lived with her her sister-in-law, Mattie Carter Powell after her first husband, Warner L. Powell, died and helped raise her children from two marriages. She lived with The Powells for much of her life and is buried in the Powell family plot at Green Hill Cemetery in Green Hill Cemetery, Danville, Virginia.
