In 1699 Thomas Sthreshley, James Reynolds, John Saunders and John Doughty Witness the purchase of 1017 acres of land in Essex Co. for 100 pounds sterling, from Harry Beverley, Gent and Elizabeth, his wife of Middlesex, being part of a dividend of land granted to his father, Major Robert Beverley, dec'd, situated on Gilson's Maine Run, adjoining lands of Thomas Sthreshley, John Doughty, and Thomas Button, Decd.
