    Texanna is born in 1853. Her uncles (Samuel C. Jackson and
    William L. Jackson had left Pittsylvania County. Samuel
    joined the Army and William moved to Texas. Texanna was
    probably named in remembrance of her mother's brother,
    William, who moved to Texas.

    There was a "Yellow Fever" epidemic in 1878. Texanna and
    her sister were sick together and died around or before
    1878.
