Barbara Anderson Reynolds, 82, of 3312 Strawberry Rd., Chatham, entered into rest on December 20, 2015, at the residence of her son, Gary, in Chatham.
She was born on July 9, 1933, in Pittsylvania County, and was the daughter of the late Charles Fenton Reynolds and the late Louise Anderson Reynolds.
She was married to the late Harry Lea Reynolds.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was a faithful member of Hollywood Baptist Church and enjoyed serving in many capacities.
She is survived by two sons, Harry Lea Reynolds, II and his wife, Lisa of Chatham and Gary Fenton Reynolds and his wife, Terry of Chatham; two daughters, Vicky Lynn Terry and her husband, Marshall of Midlothian and Nora Ellen Horn and her husband, Steve of Idaho; eight grandchildren, Brittany Rudd and her husband, Adam, Trey Reynolds and his wife, Misty, Tara Ferris and her husband, Ben, Victoria Terry, Leslie Barber and her husband, Jim, Sarah Edwards and her husband, Don, Caleb Reynolds and his wife, Emily, and Mary Kathryn Gibson and her husband, Vance; ten great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Rigney and her husband, Bill, and Dianne Collins and her husband, Wayne.
Funeral services will be conducted at Reynolds Family Cemetery on Saturday, December 26, at 11:00 a.m. with Gary Reynolds officiating.
The family will receive friends at the residence of Gary and Terry Reynolds, 3305 Strawberry Rd. Chatham, Va. 24531 throughout the week and then after the service from 12:00-2:00 pm. at Mrs. Reynold's residence, 3312 Strawberry Rd.
