    Howard Haines Reynolds a well know resident of Rising Sun died early Sunday morning at his home in that town, after a brief illness of pneumonia aged 69 years. In early life he followed the occupation of farming. A widower and two sons, Chalmer and Aaron Reynolds survive. Interment in Brookview Cemetery, Rising Sun, Maryland (cecil whig)

    Master Melvin Eugene Reynolds from Aaron and Chalmer Reynolds Christmas 1898. For to play with in 1899. Rising Sun, Maryland (March 2016)

    Melvin Eugene Reynolds was the son of Sophia Carter Reynolds and Elmer Ellsworth Reynolds. Sophia's father was Barclay Reynolds. He and Howard Haines Reynolds were brothers. So Melvin, Chalmer and Aaron were cousins.

    Chalmer married Helen Jones 15 Oct 1914, Annapolis, Maryland. Helen was born Est 1893, Cecil Co., Maryland; died Yes, date unknown. [Group Sheet]

    Lt. Col. George Reynolds

    Word has been received here of the accidental death Thursday in San Juan,
    Puerto Rico, of Lt. Col. George Proctor Reynolds, 41, of Alexandria, Va. He drowned while swimming in the ocean during a vacation.

    Lt. Col. Reynolds was stationed at the U.S. Army Military Personnel Center,
    Washington, D.C.

    Surviving are three aunts, Mrs. Helen Reynolds of Wilmington, Del.; Miss
    Stella Proctor and Mrs. Lydia Love, both of West Chester; and two uncles, Robert Proctor of Philadelphia and Henry Proctor of West Chester.

    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Pippin Funeral Home, Elkton, Md.; interment with military honors will be in Brookview Cemetery,
    Rising Sun, Md.
