Miss Reynolds was the daughter of Squire Henry Reynolds, of Cecil County, Md. and was born December 26, 1830, being therefore, in her 78th year. She is the last of a family of 14 children and the sixth generation in this county of the family of Reynolds, an English Quaker family, who settled Eastland, this county, in 1745. Her mother was a Coppock and Miss Reynolds was a cousin of the Coppock boys of Kansas, who was with John Brown at Harper's Ferry. Miss Reynolds was unmarried. Miss Reynolds was a member of the Penn Hill Society of Friends, interment at Penn Hill Friends Meeting House in the cemetery adjoining.
