    STERLING'S OBITUARY
    U.S. Veteran
    Sterling Reynolds, Jr., 92, of Elkton, MD passed away Friday, October 14, 2022. Born in Elkton on December 21, 1929, he was the son of the late Sterling and Elizabeth Hopkins Reynolds.

    Mr. Reynolds was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the Cecil County Board of Education, retiring after 25 years as head custodian at North East High School, where he had worked since the school opened. Mr. Reynolds enjoyed woodworking and tinkering with cars.

    Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Alice Bowlsbey Reynolds; daughters, Donna Lee Snyder (Michael), Anita Marie Magaw (Bruce), and Patricia Ann Jones; grandchildren, Kelly Fortune, Jason Magaw, Timothy Snyder, Chris Snyder, Caitlyn Jones and Patrick Jones and great-grandchildren, Angelina Magaw, Tyler Snyder, Annabelle Snyder, and Joseph Snyder. Mr. Reynolds is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

    In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Jane Banks and Mildred Barrow.

    Graveside funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2022 in Union Cemetery, 440 Union Church Road, Elkton, MD 21921.
