    Notes:

    ETHEL MAY REYNOLDS LEVREDGE: died peacefully at the age of 98 at Calvert Manor Health Care on Tuesday, September 6, 2005. She was the daughter of the George and Amanda McDowell Lockard of Elk Neck. Ethel was a long life resident of Red Point, in North East, MD and was the widow of Philip Burchelle Reynolds who died in 1955. Her second husband Clarence Levredge died in 1975. Ethel was a domestic worker for local families and spent 10 years working for the A & P Tea Company in Elkton, MD. She lived independently at her home on Cara Cove overlooking the North East River until she was 96. Here she enjoyed the simple things in life; fishing, crocheting and embroidery, reading the Bible, cooking, picnicking with family and being a friend to all the wildlife that share her home on the water. Most importantly, Ethel will be remembered for her humble and unwavering service to Hart's United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime member of the church and served as Sunday School teacher to many for over 50 years while mentoring others on their spiritual journey to accepting Jesus Christ. She taught all that she met, "Jesus Loves Me and God is Love". She is predeceased by three sisters: Emma Dilks of Elkton, MD, Esther Campbell and Alice McClelland both of Red Point, in North East, MD.She is survived by three sons; Reese C. Reynolds and wife Marilyn Reynolds of Chadds Ford, PA, Philip B. Reynolds, Jr. and wife Louanna Reynolds of Bellhaven, NC and Harry F. Reynolds and wife Katie Reynolds of North East, MD. She was the loving grandmother of six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She will be remembered as Mrs. Reynolds, Ethel, Mother, Mom, Mom-mom and Grandmom and will remain forever in our hearts.Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 9, 2005 at the Hart's United Methodist Church, 3203 Turkey Point Road Elk Neck, MD, near North East, MD., where there will be a viewing 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM. Rev. Daniel Gedman, Rev. Beverly Lewis and Rev. Mary Browne will officiate. Interment, North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, Maryland.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Hart's United Methodist Church. P.O. Box 284, North East, MD 21901.     Harry F. Reynolds, 83, of Elk Neck, MD, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.
    Born in Chesapeake City, MD, on May 21, 1935, he was the son of the late Burchelle and Ethel May (Lockard) Reynolds. Harry lived his entire life in Elk Neck with his wife of 61 years, Katherine Burnett Reynolds.
    He was a carpenter by trade working for many construction companies as a superintendent. Although retired, he continued working.
    Harry honorable served in the U.S. Army. He was the oldest active member of North East Fire Company with 68 years of service and was very active in Hart's United Methodist Church.
    A devoted family man who always helped others, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and entire family. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, crabbing, outdoors, boating, and family vacations in Ocean City, MD. He was the happiest when he was on Cara Cove.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by their children: a daughter, Debbi Reynolds Parsons (John Jr.), of Queenstown, MD; a son, Harry F. Reynolds Jr. (Amy), of Elk Neck, MD; two brothers: Reese C. Reynolds, of West Chester, PA; and Phillip B. Reynolds, of Belhaven, NC. Harry is also survived by four grandchildren: Emma Parsons, Quint Parsons, Madison Reynolds and Allie Reynolds.
    Friends may call Friday, January 25, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main St., North East, MD.
    Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 26, 11 a.m. at Hart's United Methodist Church, 3203 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD. Interment with full military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
    Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Hart's United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home.
