    Notes:

    Margaret Turpin Carter, 71, of Danville, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 in the Danville Regional Medical Center after a decline in health for the past six months.
    She was born in Danville on November 5, 1943, a daughter of the late James Lynwood Turpin and Lucy Wright Turpin.
    Margaret lived all her life in Danville and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was employed with Dan River Inc. for 43 years and retired in the claims department.
    She is survived by her husband, James C. Carter of the home and a sister, Barbara Turpin Shields of Danville.
    A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 24. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
