    Notes:

    KINSTON | Margaret Terrell Reese, often called ""Big Mama"", age 81, of Carey Road passed away earlier this week. She was the daughter of the late Thaddeus Terrell and Grace Powell Terrell. She received her B.S. degree from Longwood College in Farmville, Va. and taught home economics before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of Queen Street United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was a member of the church choir and The United Methodist Women. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Queen Street United Methodist Church with Senior Pastor Allen Bingham officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Millard Griffin Reese Jr.; her son, Millard Griffin Reese III; and her brothers, Thad Terrell Jr. and Powell Terrell. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Glenda Reese of Kinston, N.C.; two granddaughters, Jessi Hodges and husband Chris, of Greenville, N.C. and Hayleigh Reese and fiancé Kevin Westmoreland, both of High Point, N.C.; and grandson, Chase Reese of Kinston, N.C. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 p.m. (service time) at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Queen Street United Methodist Church c/o The Church Trust Fund P.O. Box 508 Kinston, N.C. 28502. Arrangements are with Edwards Funeral Home.
