Green Carter was born March 11, 1879. Most of the census and his Draft Registration has that date. His headstone and death record has the same birth month and day, just a different year (10 years difference). However the headstone date was taken from the death certificate. This Green Sawyers Carter with the different birth years are one and the same in my opinion. Sallie has been the wife and he names one of his daughters Elmina after his sister.
