  1. 1.  Cuthbert Williamson was born Abt 1703, Henrico County, Virginia Colony; died Abt 1743, Cornwall Parish, Charlotte County, Virginia Colony.

    Notes:

April Court 1743. John Williamson [brother of deceased] and Elizabeth Williamson [wife of deceased] appointed executors of Cuthbert Williamson, deceased, present his will which is not signed. John Maddox states he was asked by said Cuthbert to go to John Price to get him to write the will. When Price came to the house, he was afraid to go into the room because said Cuthbert was sick with the flux. Will was written on directions given by Cuthbert, and later read to him by John Williamson and deceased said it was very well. John Price deposed that he wrote will on instructions given by John Maddox. Will was admitted to probate, Robert Sharp, Benjamin Burton, and James Cocke, securities. Elizabeth Williamson, relict and widow of Cuthbert, relinquished all benefit and advantage to herself from said will. Henry Stokes, John Watson, Matthew Hobson, and John Mosby to appraise. (Henrico Co., Virginia, Records, p. 182)

September Court 1743. John Williamson presented inventory of Cuthbert Williamson, deceased. (Henrico Co., Virginia, Records, p. 230)December 2, 1754. Pursuant to court order of June 6, 1751, we deliver to Elizabeth Allen 1/3 of estate of Cuthbert Williamson, deceased. Signed by Philip Mayo and William Lewis. (Henrico Co., Virginia, Records, p. 230) [Cuthbert's wife apparently married someone surnamed Allen.)
