    catching Salmon, Steelhead and Sturgeon.

    placed in an
    orphanage in Thomasville, North Carolina. At age 15, the
    children were removed
    by their step father, James McNiell, and he moved them to
    Asotin, Washington.
    Frank had great admiration for his step father. (According
    to letter received
    from Atha Ledford, wife, 1992).
