  Lieutenant Colonel Robert Lee Oliver, age 81, of Oak Avenue, Garden City, SC went to be with his Lord at Waccamaw Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Luther A Oliver and Matta Oliver. He was a LTC in the U S Army and civil engineer with 38 years of service to our country. He loved the beach and playing Risk on the computer. When he was younger, he enjoyed hot rods. Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by his ex wife, Juanita Frances Reynolds Oliver and a son, Robert Dale Oliver. Survivors include daughter, Rhona Oliver Lynch of Garden City, son Edward Oliver of Garden City, grandsons David Cole Lynch and Robert James Lynch and sister Pauline Oliver Martin of Martinsville, VA.
