  • Notes
    • Early in 1803 Francis started dividing his property among
his children. In 1803 he gave Joshua a 400 acre tract on
Sycamore Creek, 169 acres to Snaford on No Business
Mountain and an undetermined acreage to Chloe and Thomas on
No Business Mountain. In 1807 he deeded slaves, furniture
and livestock to his daughters Susanna McClasson and Doshey
McGlasson and their children. He gave Sanford a tract on
Sycamore Creek and Robert Womack (his son-in-law) a tract
on Roaring Run and Holley's Mill Run. He also gave his
children Frankey, Nancy and Thomas slaves and other
personal property. His son Francis received the home
property which was deeded to him in 1811. This consisted
of 440 acres on Headwaters of A**** Creek.
