Description: Francis Halley/Holley Jr. was not called Frankie. He had a sister named Frances who was called Frankie/Frankey.
Frankey was unmarried when their father wrote his will in 1808. "I give to my daughter Frankey Halley one Negro girl named Celia & one Negro boy named Bowser, also one half of the land whereon I now live including the house and orchard, the land she is to hold during her natural life, and after her Death I give the money left to her, to my son Francis Halley or his heirs forever."
She had a late-in-life first marriage to widower Colonel Littleberry Leftwich in 1811:
Bedford Co. VA Marriages: Dec. 26, 1811; Littleberry Leftwich & Frankey Halley; Wm. Leftwich, Surety.
