Holley, Died Thursday, November 27, 2003 A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Roselawn Burial Park for John William Holley, 70, of Martinsville, who died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Beverly Health Care Center in Martinsville. Rev. Tilden Bridges will officiate. A native of Henry County, he was born July 11, 1933, the son of the late Judge C.[sic Jerry Cornelius-(see obit] Holley and the late Anna Manning Holley. He graduated from Axton High School prior to serving in the U. S. Army. He was a member of Granbury United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Terri Lovell of Carolina Beach, N.C.; four brothers, Jerry Holley, Doug Lawrence, James Lawrence, and Roy Lawrence, all of Martinsville; a sister, Dorothy Aaron of Danville; and one grandchild. The family will receive friends at the home of his brother, Jerry Holley, 3100 Mt. Olivet Road in Martinsville. Parents: Judge C Holley (1911 - 1995) Anna Elizabeth Manning Holley (1914 - 1988)
