      General Robert Lewis' son, John Sr. was born in England where he was educated and married, in 1555, Isabella Warner. Isabella, the d/o Augustine Warner inherited her father's estate, 'Warner Hall' John Lewis, Sr. died in 1725. Their son, Major John Jr. [Lewis] of Gloucester, a member of the Virginia Council, was born in 1731 and died in 1754. John Lewis, Jr. married Frances Fielding; she died in 1731, and he died in 1754.

      Brother of John Jr., Warner Lewis, m. Eleanor, widow of William, s/o Sir William Gooch, Governor of Virgiia, and d/o James Bowles, of Maryland.
