CHAPTER 2
Sons of Andrew Lewis and Mary Calhoone and brother of John Pioneer Lewis is General Robert Lewis, one of the Welsh brothers, who was a lawyer by profession. Robert Lewis lived in Brecon, in Wales, until he located in the city of London, with a view of practicing his profession there, but emigrated in a short time to America and settled in Abington, or Ware Parish, Gloucester county, Virginia about the middle of the 17th century.
