He m. 6-18-1832 Rhoda Smith, b. 1812, and settled in Pittsylvania County, Va. (1850 Census). Issue: William G., b. 1835, who m. 6-9-1858 Elizabeth Adkins; Elizabeth, b. 1837; Susan, b. 1839; John, b. 1843; Jabez, b. 1846; and Henny Ann, b. 1841, who m. 1-15-1861 Ralph Adkins, Jr. John M. Reynolds, does not exist. He is not the s/o Joseph M. Reynolds and Margaret 'Peggy' Devin. The individual who married Rhoda Smith is JOHN PHILPOTT REYNOLDS, s/o John Devin and Sarah Philpott Reynolds. John Philpott Reynolds' son, William George Reynolds m. Mary Elizabeth Adkins. Henny [Hariett Ann called 'Herry' m. Ralph Adkins. John Booker m. Talitha Mahan, Jabez died in Civil War; Susan never married; Elizabeth died at age 21, prob. unmarried.
