Birth: Aug. 2, 1928 Pittsylvania County Virginia, USA Death: Feb. 13, 1949, Pittsylvania County, VA Mr. Joel Estes Wells, Jr of Dry Fork, VA went to be with his Lord at Memorial Hospital in Danville, VA as a result of injuries suffered in a two car accident on Route 29 North of Danville early Sunday Morning. The deceased was one of seven injured in the accident. He was a native of Pittsylvania County, VA and the son of Elsie Smith Wells and the late Joel Estes Wells, Sr. He attended the Dry Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church and Whitmell Farm Life School. Survivors are his mother, two sisters Mrs. Ralph Jones and Miss Emma Lee Wells and two brothers William W Wells and Garland A Wells, both of Dry Fork.
