      Lois Reynolds Smith, 89, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Roman Eagle Memorial Home. She was born March 14, 1919 in Pittsylvania County a daughter of Charles Ward Reynolds and Nannie Motley Reynolds. She lived in the Callands community until April of 2007. Mrs. Smith was married to Charles Wade Smith, who died July 19, 2002. She was a member of the Hollywood Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Harold L. Smith and his wife, Mary of Mebane, NC; a brother, W.M. "Mack" Reynolds of Danville; a sister, Mildred R. Edwards of Martinsville and two grandsons, Brian Smith of Pittsboro, NC and Paul Smith of Mebane, NC. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from the Hollywood Baptist Church by Pastor Terry St. John. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
