  I believe Helen Ida Franklin to be the wife of Ira Reynolds. I found info. on Ancestry listing wife of Ira as Helen Franklin born abt. 1915 North Carolina. I researched further and found a birth record listing for a Helen Ida Franklin born 1913 in North Carolina to a Virgil and Hattie Burleson Franklin. Further research found Virgil/Hattie and children Helen and Oliver living in North Carolina in 1920. In the 1940 Chester County Census (West Fallowfield) I found Ira Reynolds and wife Helen with same birth date and place of birth and their children.. Listed further below are several Franklins, one being Oliver from North Carolina. Oliver and Helen are brother and sister..Also Helen's parents Virgil/Hattie are in the 1930 and 1940 census in Chester County, Pennsylvania. dlozano 4/27/2015 I have found the death certificate for Virgil L. FRANKLIN ?HELEN R. BABCOCK, Troy RD3, formerly of Canton RD1, died at the Bradford County Manor, Feb. 16, 1992, following an extended illness. Mrs. Babcock was born Jan. 12, 1913, at Crossnore, NC, a daughter of Virgil and Hattie Burleson Franklin. She was a member of the former United Methodist Church, charter member and past president of the Canton Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary; member of and volunteer for the Canton Hospitality House; and former member of the Canton VFW Auxiliary; Canton Senior Citizens; and the Canton Rod and Gun Club. Mrs. Babcock and her husband, Floyd, were avid hunters and greatly enjoyed the outdoors of Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Wyoming. She raised pheasants for the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Irene Reynolds Seelye, Canton RD 2, and Linda Babcock Davis, Canton RD1; two sons, Robert Reynolds, Street, MD, and Franklin F. Babcock, Canton RD 1; a stepson, Charles Babcock, San Jose, CA; a stepdaughter, Elnor Short, Elmira; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Ridolph, Boynton Beach, FL, Mrs. William Miller, Sinking Springs, PA, and Mrs. John Coates, Oxford, PA; a brother, Carl Franklin, Elsmere, DE; a sister-in-law, Hazel Benson, Canton; a brother-in-law, Arthur Barnes, Burlington, and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ira Reynolds in 1947; her second husband, Floyd Babcock, in 1970; and a daughter, Wilma Reynolds George, in 1990. Funeral services were held from the Morse and Kleese Funeral home, Canton Feb. 19, with the Rev. Jasper Smith, retire Methodist minister, officiating. Interment was in Grover Cemetery.
