      Dr. Ronald "Boyd" Devin, 73, passed away unexpectedly November 10, 2006. Dr. Devin was born in Heppner, OR March 13, 1933. Dr. Devin was a drama professor for 38 years in Oregon and Washington - teaching in the secondary school, junior college and university arenas. During his tenure at Eastern Washington University, Dr. Devin led four USO/Department of Defense tours to locations including The Philippines, Korea, Europe and Japan. Once retired, Dr. Devin relocated to Mesa, AZ where he became active with the AZ Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) and began traveling around the country as Flight Engineer with the AZ Wing's B17, Sentimental Journey. Dr. Devin is survived by his wife Carroll; daughter Hillary of Franktown, CO; son Scott of Tempe, AZ; and brother Glenn of Canby, OR. Donations in Dr. Devin's memory may be made to the AZ Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, 2017 North Greenfield Road, Mesa, AZ 85215.
